Sew Good and Trendy is dedicated to creating trendy, eco-friendly, and functional handmade bags and other useful items. We believe that environmentally conscious choices can be made without sacrificing convenience and personal style.

What Makes Us A Green Business?

Each bag is created with eco-friendly materials like recycled canvas, upcycled upholstery samples, reclaimed clothing, organics, corozo nut, hemp, and fabrics created from recycled plastic bottles. How green-a-licious is that? Many bags even come with coordinating lightweight shopping bags that fold up and tuck inside the purse so you never have to leave home without one! Just think of all the disposable bags you won’t use! Not only are our bags eco-friendly and beautiful, they are also functional! Our designs include many useful features including adjustable straps, zipper closure, numerous interior pockets, and much more.

We also work very hard to ensure we do business in an eco-friendly manner. For example, we use paper and cardstock created from recycled goods, and whenever possible, we use reclaimed packing and shipping materials.

Descriptions and pictures of our bags can be found under the Products tab. Most of ours bags are one-of-a-kind because they have been created with repurposed materials. Due to this, we do not show images of all of the bags we currently have available for purchase. For a list of events where you can see us in person, click on the Calendar tab.

A special thank you to Patricia Stevens College and Maryville University's Art and Design School for providing rescued fabrics. Instead of these wonderful fabrics being placed in a landfill, they will be turned into fabulous bags and other cool items!
